Basit is a hybrid Creative Director and Designer navigating between art, fashion, architecture, industrial design and interaction through applied strategic design.

Currently living and working in Singapore at ︎Huge on global projects for Google, SK-II, McDonald’s and more. Before this he was Principal at ︎Eight Inc. where he worked on strategic design projects for brands, businesses and people across United States, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Australia, Germany and Singapore. 

He has led diverse teams to design experiences for brands and organisations across different categories including travel, automotive, hospitality, beauty, banking, fintech, retail, education, fashion, telecommunications, real estate, furniture, furnishings, publishing, arts, museums and cultural institutions. 

Pakistan born and Chicago grown. A student of Dutch design who proudly calls Singapore home for the last two decades. Basit’s work has been featured in galleries, exhibitions and publications in over ten countries, across three continents.
