Basit is a hybrid visual designer navigating between art, fashion, architecture, industrial design and interaction through applied strategic design.


Recently worked as Creative Director at ︎Huge on global projects for Google, SK-II, Nikko AM, McDonald’s and more. Before this he was Principal at ︎Eight Inc. Singapore, the San Francisco founded and globally recognized award-winning strategic design firm where he worked on strategic design projects for brands and businesses across Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Australia, Germany and Singapore.

He has led teams to design experiences for businesses across different categories including travel, automotive, hospitality, beauty, banking, fintech, retail, education, fashion, telecommunications, real estate, furniture, furnishings, publishing, arts, museums and cultural institutions. 

Basit’s work has been featured in galleries, exhibitions and publications in over ten countries, across three continents.
